Berlingheri’s map of Cyprus & Turkey is one of the earliest printed maps of the region. Perhaps most notably, it is the first regional map to utilize a style which is notably different from the Nicholas Germanicus model and adopt a different means for projecting the printed landmasses represented on maps.
