A complete copy of this rare plate book by one of the most famous english artist traveller on the Middle East. Lewis was an artist specialized on genre scenes of middle eastern life either in Cairo or Constantinople where he lived for many years. The most important monuments are represented the same as genre scenes in coffes, harem etc. A fine copy of this scarce book.
