Evaluation grade:
The position in which the panorama is drawn – from the artist’s point of view; It is the roof of the Swedish embassy residence, which was built in the style of the classical Swedish Palace. In the notes dated February 14, 1741, Philipp Franz Gudenus, who was in Istanbul as a military painter working at the Austrian Embassy between August 11, 1740 and May 4, 1741, it is claimed that he was drawn from his visits to the residence of the Swedish Embassy, from the roof of the Embassy residence, probably in a period between these dates.
